Roleplaying
9:22 pm EST, just picked up my significant other and now sitting at home. We were talking about something on the way home, about fantasy stories. I don't know if it was in jest but I always thought that having a discussion about such a thing is quite interesting and honestly fun. Yes, geeky I know but what the hell, I've always been a fantasy and dragons type girl. He had a story about a guy..I forgot his name, though I know it starts with a V, so for now, let us call him V (no relation to V for Vendetta of course). He was the captain of the guard of a royal family who had one only son who unfortunately dies. Because of the death the King had to find another heir. The death of the King's son serves two fold, both as a jumping start of the action and the other as the reason why V would inadvertently fall from grace. Well, parts of it reminds me of various stories though I understand there are twists and turns that only he would create. Of course the addition of Rowan, my old roleplaying character in the infamous M'dhoria would make the tale wonderful (hahaha, I think he only said that to appease me). But I had thought it awesome and would really love to create some character schemes for his story. I love making stuff like that up.
In essence his story makes me want to draw and reminds me that I do want to be an illustrator. It reminds me of my most memorable character (well there were two but for this bard's tale, for any storyteller is a bard in his/her own right, I speak of Rowan). I had never really had any interest in creating characters until her. In her I diffused alot of who I am and who I wanted to be.
Ah, how I miss it. How I wish to make something like it, perhaps if I can convince him, we can create this story.
About Me: A graduate of Hunter College with a B.A. in American Literature. I flit around from various arts, games, blogs just sampling. Haven't really settled on anything yet.
